At Mont Albert Vet we individualise your pets healthcare plan to your pets lifestyle and needs. Vaccination of puppies and kittens is an important part of their preventative care. As pets get older we can discuss other options such as three yearly core vaccination in adult dogs, or titre testing. 

Titre Testing

Titre testing is an alternative to vaccination for the core diseases we vaccinate for in adult dogs. A blood test is taken and we can check for sufficient antibodies to the core diseases with in-house testing. This will both confirm that your pet has responded sufficiently to the vaccination and may reduce the need for annual vaccinations.
